Best Teapot EVER!
Finally an engineered teapot! First, the shape is round, to hold heat. The ceramic also holds the heat and allows you to preheat the pot. The lid clearly shows open and “locked”. The lid is metal, so even if you do drop it on the floor, or sink, it won’t break. The lid even has a gasket so it fits snugly. The lid fits so well you can lift the teapot using just the lid! The spout is metal and never drips, NEVER. and the handle is comfortable and doesn’t get hot. At the bottom of all this is a built in trivit so you’ll never have to search for a pad or trivit when you put the pot down on a table.
Cute teapot – for tea time (English)
This teapot is really nice. I have been using it for several weeks, and discovered that I prefer this teapot over the standard type with porcelain covers. The teapot cover is mostly metal, so it does not break easily. The spout has a sharp metal edge (functionality of this piece is borderline unnecessary), so you have to be careful handling the teapot around the children. In general, it is a pretty good teapot.
Tea or Coffee Pot
While this was expensive to buy, I had to have it for a coffee pot and just love it. My porcelain coffee filter fits perfectly on this pot. The 2 of them are absolutely made for each another and make for an attractive set. It will hold up to 4 mugs of coffee.
