nice size the serving bowl is a nice size for holding a vegetable for dinner. the colors aren’t as vibrant as the picture shows. it doesn’t come in a box for gift giving. it’s wrapped in a lot of foam padding. I bought it for a gift and wish it were in a box but I think she will like it overall. beautiful! This is just beautiful and the price, even better. Bought to match existing set Gift for a person that owned a set and didn’t know this size of a dish was availible to match hers’. She really likes them! One bowl is cracked. This bowl is a great addition and a perfect size for a group salad, pasta, etc. We have had a few instances of our coffee cups of the same type cracking when we poured hot water for tea. Very nice! I bought 3 of these…one for me and each of my sister-in-laws, since our last name is Marshall. I use it for salads, vegetables, you name it. One of my sister-in-laws uses it as a fruit bowl and its always on her counter. Who knows about the other one? Its sturdy, attractive, and my 9 year old son loves it because it has an acorn pattern around the outside and he loves acorns! Great buy! The matching peices are great, too! Goes with everything This is a beautiful bowl and a favorite gift to give. Hot foods stay hot (it is oven safe) cold foods stay cold. It is unbreakable and looks just as good with formal china as it does with Superbowl snacks. I think it is the perfect size for veggies. WARNING–it is not dishwasher safe. A chemical reaction can cause it to look purple rather like motor oil on water. So buy it, use it for everything, but handwash it. I love Wilton arame tale I have been collecting Wilton army tale for a about 10 years. It is versatile-can go from hot to cold without problems. It is a pretty serving dish. It cleans up easily! Great beautiful bowl This is a beautiful bowl. It did come with the peaches in the center which I appreciated. I have other dishes in this pattern and it is lovely. Better than Grandma’s Really nice…. better than Grandma’s and more stylish with less weight, yet heavy duty, with classic design. Some of my Portmeirion Pomona pieces are 15 years old and I have never even had a chip. The best part is…no fade even with daily dishwasher washing… so my year 1 old pieces look no different than the 15 year old pieces. It’s a lifetime purchase that will last a true lifetime! A Beautiful Pattern I am generally not a Lenox fan because despite awesome quality, most of the patterns seem sort of dated to me. However this pattern I really love. The colors are really bright and versatile without being a bit garish. The palate includes cobalt blue, turquoise, bright green and a spot of orange. With linens that pick up one of these colors, the table looks really rich and beautiful. Quality of Lenox finish is really unbeatable and these are dishwasher safe. Click to Editorial Reviews

WOW! This one is HUGE!!! Although I have the cobalt blue one, I decided to write a review on this since personally, I have relied on other’s reviews about the functionality, design since I already have other pieces in the same line / color. If you are an Emile Henry fan, and are looking at buying THIS particular Cerise Red, you most likely know what sort of ‘red’ it is. I do not own any of the red, just the cobalt. The design like all Emile products are EXTREMELY sturdy, substantial in weight, VERY strong considering it’s pottery and beautiful. I just got my 2 bowls in yesterday and BOY! ARE THEY HUGE!!! Luckily, they DO fit in my cupboards which I’m relieved about. They are shaped & designed exactly like the smaller individual pasta bowls, these are just again, much bigger. If you entertain AT ALL, (I only do maybe 3-4 times per year…mostly our birthday parties or Thanksgiving and such)…then one of these would definitely come in handy. Celeca Pasta Set My only criticsim of this beautiful set would be the sizes of the four smaller bowls. They seemed a bit too small for pasta bowls. I was comparing them to the size of the set I had purchased at Williams-Sonoma for myself a few years ago. The WS bowls are more shallow and wider. Ceramics vs. cast iron I had a ceramic set for several years already – I also have a cast-iron set for the office. So far, it hasn’t disappointed. The set is solid, light, elegant in its simplicity. Unlike the cast iron version, no rust. My friends and I shared many a summer afternoon on the patio, seeping tea off the tiny little cups. I am using it for brewing mostly white tea. My boss, who lives in Oxford, England and is a life-long tea drinker became an instant convert to both white tea and to using this pot after paying me a visit at home, last year. The little cups can get a little hot if you pour hot tea in them (watch out) but they look cool and you should not end up with burned lips if you are reasonably careful. On a cautionary note – the bamboo handle CAN break if you are not careful. Mine broke after a year or so but I was able to find replacements at a nearby Oriental store. Click to Editorial Reviews
