Fabulous gift Bought this tray as a gift. This is a beautiful tray that I recommend to anybody who likes Nambe products. This is an expensive little tray but if you want to offer a special gift, this is a wonderful item. I checked with other Nambe products and Amazon prices are similar to other providers. I did not find any price cut for any Nambe products. Buying it at Amazon is easier for me than driving to the closest Mall so in a way it’s cheaper. The Nambe box arrived well packaged and in perfect shape so I can offer the tray in its original box. One of my most versatile serving trays I’ve owned this serving tray for well over 10 years and this one gets used at almost every party or gathering. I love the elegant look of Nambé. It’s made of a proprietary eight-metal aluminum-based alloy which has a beautiful luster. It’s not as shiny as silver and not as dull as pewter. It’s not like stainless steel either. Wonderful hefty and beautiful flatware I bought a service for 8 of the Nambe’ Butterly flatware, and my wife and I adore it. It is stainless steel, so I don’t have to worry about it tarnishing or having to polish it. The pieces are rather large, which we really like. It feels quite substantial in our hands. The design is also very nice. It is hard to find a pattern that is not ornate, but also not plain. This strikes the perfect balance for us. We are very pleased with it. It is dishwasher safe, as is our china. We didn’t want to get something that had to be hand washed. Because of this, we now use both this flatware and our china every day, which is what we hoped for. I find too many people save their good flatware and china for a special occasion that never comes. We perfer to use it all the time. If a plate breaks, or we lose a spoon, we’ll replace it. Classy Contemporary I have this in my kitchen full of lemons and limes. It’s gorgeous and everyone “oohs” when they see it. It’s substantial too with a nice heft to it. Graceful elegant design. Received as a gift — I use it regularly This bowl is just perfect, no matter who you are shopping for. Who couldn’t use a gorgeous, clean-lined, shiny dish? We’ve had ours for 16 years — still looks great. **** Whoops, too hasty. I thought this was the tri-corner bowl. I have both, love both, but I got this more like 10 years ago. Simply beautiful These are the most beautiful salad servers..they are more like pieces of art. My everyday salad servers were looking too terrible to trot out in front of dinner guests and these Nambe servers are stunning. They are also quite functional and feel comfortable in your hands…not too big so as to have you standing arms length from the bowl and not too short so you end up with salad all over your hands. Simply perfect. Beautiful These are really beautiful. I gave them as a Christmas Gift in a basket with salad fixings (oils, vinegars, nuts). It was a hit. I built the basket around the salad servers. A Crowd Pleaser I bought this piece of Nambe for a wedding gift and from the day I bought it I could not stop thinking about how much I would like one for myself. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon and now I enjoy so much putting it out with a cheese loaf and assorted crackers. I never fails to get compliments. Heavy and Beautiful! Beautiful plate; nice enough to be worth the price tag :p It’s incredibly heavy/hefty, but it’s nice. Wears well. Wood will fade a bit over time, but nothing dramatic or unattractive. Wedding gift — I use it every day The wedding was 16 years ago. This bowl is just right — with a pumpkin in it for fall, filled with glass ornaments at Christmas, piled with lemons in the spring, on its own in the bookcase. It’s classy and versatile. Beautiful candlesticks; excellent gift I gave these to my (future) mother in law. They are beautiful. The only concern is that they are only 7 inches tall. Make sure you pair them with candles that are appropriately shorter. flawed We used these once and the heat from the candles resulted in an imperfection in the glass in one of the candlesticks. The crystal no longer appears uniform–there is a big bubble in it. These were a wedding gift and Nambe’s return policy is 30 days. Our wedding wasn’t for more than 30 days after we received them and we didn’t want to use them until after the wedding, so that was not particularly helpful. Great gift, great shipping options from Amazon I purchased these candlesticks as a wedding present for my cousin in Japan.
