I have two china sets, but I needed something for every day, and I needed something for a big holiday. This is the best set out there after doing all my research. This ultra strong china, can be put in a warmer draw, microwave, dishwasher etc. You can use it for holidays and it goes with everything. I have service for 16 and use it for all my big holidays. It is versatile, and looks beautiful.

I bought 2 sets of this and am using them everyday. They didn’t look as pretty as I expected at first,and I couldn’t be so sure if it was a good buy considering the price. But the set definitely gives a warm & comfotable feeling. They are so durable that last week,I accidently banged one of the mug to the corner of my kitchen counter tile so hard but it didn’t break nor crecked. There’s just one thing that I don’t like; the inside of the mugs is not really smooth. I don’t know why they came out like this. You might need to wash them (the inside of the mugs) carefully; otherwise there might be some leftover coffee stain.

This review is by Bruce’s wife. I didn’t know how to change it to show my name, instead of his. I have wanted this pattern ever since I selected American Colonial by Oneida as my Stainless Steel many years ago. I finally got them for Christmas this past year and for my birthday got Libby Gibraltar glassware to go with them. These dishes have a classic Colonial design that goes perfect with the stainless. And I was surprised to find out that they are china, not stoneware, so they are not bulky and heavy. I love the fact that there are as many accessory pieces available as there were for my formal china. I use these every day, The inside of my cups are nice and smooth, the other writer may have gotten a bad lot. I have no doubt that these will be the last set of dishes that I purchase. I am very satisfied with these dishes, and would recommend them highly.
