Beautiful, Durable, and Elegant I’ve used Lenox Montclair fine china since 1964 and have found it to be beautiful, durable, and elegant. My guests have always commented on how lovely and elegant this pattern is. The simplicity of the design complements any decor. I’ve machine-washed the dishes with no ill effects although I’ve recently learned that hand-washing is best because the chemicals in dishwasher detergent may harm the platinum rims. My cousin chose her Lenox Montclair pattern a year after I did and has been using them all these years as well and she loves her set just as much as I do. Click to Editorial Reviews

Beautiful and Perfect I love these salt and pepper shakers. They are so cute and match my set perfectly (obviously!). The only con I can think of for this item is that the small plastic insert at the bottom of the shakers will eventually break or warp. I need to find replacements for them. Beautiful, Oversized Holiday Serving Pieces If Winter Greetings Everyday is your holiday china, you’ll want a serving platter large enough to hold the traditional Christmas or Thanksgiving turkey, and this platter will do it. It’s tricky to get it to fit in the dishwasher with other dishes, but it held up beautifully. The medium bowl should be renamed large serving bowl; it can hold enough mashed potatoes to feed an army of guests. Nice design, but not very durable We registered for and received this set of dishes as a wedding gift two years ago. After having to leave them in storage while we lived abroad, we returned home excited to finally get to use our beautiful set of dishes. Unfortunately, only three months in, we have two cracked bowls and are hesitant to use them for fear of cracking the other ones. The dishes are supposed to be microwave and dishwasher safe (as per the bottom of the dishes). Since we haven’t dropped them or been overly heavy-handed with them, we can only conclude that they are not very durable, and probably should not be microwaved and/or used in the dishwasher. We have contacted Lenox to find out if this is a common problem, and to hopefully receive some remedy for the problem. We could have gotten dishes from a faulty batch, but even still, we would not recommend these dishes to others. I am rating this set 2 stars instead of 1 solely because they *are* very pretty, and the design is…...

NOT DISHWASHER SAFE NO MATTER WHAT LENOX SAYS This is a very pretty set and affordable BUT…BEWARE. Lenox says it is dishwasher safe. They lie. I put the pot in the diswasher to remove the tea stains(all alone on the top rack with reservations) It turns out I was right….The butterfly wings fell off from the dishwasher spray. It was not roughly handled or in a place that anything could have touched it but water. Lenox by the way DOES NOT warranty it for falling apart when used as instructed and stands by the “dishwasher safe” label. It will cost $30 to replace the pot under their 50% off breakage warranty and they won’t sell you a lid only. Tea for 2 The perfect tea set for Grandma and her favorite granddaughter. Beautiful Flatware I have used this set for over 5 years, and it still retains a beautiful finish. I finally completed my set with this entertainment set, and I can see the difference in finish between brand new, and used daily for more than 5 years, but its not significant. The flatware is solid, and has a very nice weight. The pattern is simple, and will go with any tableware from solid and plain, to my great grandmothers bavarian china full of florals, scalloped and gold plated edges Its just a very decent set of flatware, and I’d probably buy a brand new complete set to use only for special occasions, of the same exact pattern before I’d buy silverware. Affordable elegance I know most people are looking at this “Lenox Forevermore Silver-Plated 2-Piece Dessert Set” with a wedding in mind, but I actually got them for my wife as a Christmas present. She loves baking pies, and was wanted something pretty to serve her pies with. Our own wedding was very simple, without the big cake, so we didn’t wind up with the nice serving set that most couples have. I was impressed with the quality of this set. For the bargain price, I was anticipating something of a little less quality, maybe a light hollow with a thin silver plating. Instead I got a nice heavy serving set, with a lush mirror finish that looks beautiful and cleans up easily. I have seen some serving sets where the decoration gets in the way of the functionality, but fortunately that is not an issue here. Lenox Vibe 3-Piece Metal Salad set – a real winner I purchased the Lenox Vibe 3-piece Salad Set as a Christmas Gift. It not only recieved the surprised delight of the recipient, it recieved ooh’s and ahh’s from the other family and friends opening their gifts that Chrismas morning. Made in America I am impressed how light but sturdy this beautiful set is. It handles the dishwasher and microwave without problem. We got it for everyday use and have no regrets. There are 2 related patterns, 4 degree and 7 degree, based on the number of ridges on the plates. The 7 degree plates come with 4 degree cups and vise versa. This bowl is a great addition and a perfect size for a group salad, pasta, etc. We have had a few instances of our coffee cups of the same type cracking when we poured hot water for tea. Wish I had known before purchasing I purchased this set as a gift to myself when my husband and I moved into our new home. Our children had gone off to college and I thought the Lenox dishes were a luxury we could now enjoy. Unfortunately, they are mostly a disappointment. On a positive note they are beautiful. We have been using this Butterfly Meadow set just over 2 years now. Almost immediately I noticed how easily these dishes scratch. Aren’t plates made with the intention of eating off of them? I won’t even offer steak knives when setting the table, unless my guests request them, because I know the dishes will become even more marred. I am also surprised at how easily this set chips, and the chipped edges are very sharp. I’m very careful with the set and only hand wash everything, so I’m truly shocked whenever I find a chip. I had such high expectations since this set is made by Lenox. I previously owned a set of Corelle dishes which was much less expensive and I used for over 20 ...

Beautiful! This Lenox coffee pot looks great in my china cabinet. Its a beautiful addition to my Butterfly Meadow collection. It has a different design on each side, so that it can be displayed in 2 ways. Beautiful! This bowl is beautiful! It is the rich green one expects in high quality crystal, and the cuts are fairly sharp. One thing, however–the bowl is not a heavy weight crystal–the glass is thinner than my more expensive pieces, and therefore lighter in weight. There are a few small bubbles in the glass, but then you find the same thing in Waterford crystal these days.
