Great Gift I purchased the precious musical teacup as a gift. The recipient was thrilled with it. She collects Royal Albert Old Country Rose china. She plans on using the musical teacup as a centerpiece when she uses her Royal Albert china ware. Beautiful I bought this for my Grandmother for Christmas. She loves teacups and was so excited when she saw this. She has it on her night stand already. Great Gift My mother loves bunnies and she collects teapots. I went to search online for a teapot with may some rabbits on it for her birthday. I couldn’t believe my luck when I found this Bunny Teapot. I had it delivered to my house first so I could check it and wrap it before sending it to her (she lives on the other side of the country) and it is adorable. It is so cute and so detailed and the bunny had roses painted all over it. My mother loved it and put it on her highest shelf in her cabinet of teapots along with the matching creamer and sugar bowls that I also go for her. $24.99 and oddly perfect The Old Country Roses pattern reminds me of Italian grandmas but somehow these napkin rings got me right in the gut. I can’t explain it. Normally, the combination of that shade of pink with that shade of yellow would just make me crazy but somehow these overblown almosttchotchke yet COOL ceramics are just what my demure table needs. These ceramic roses strongly resemble Chinese exports of the 1980s but the 1980s versions are much finer yet just as affordable. $19.99 is cheaper than the sculpted rose ones in the collection that are too over the top. These bunnies are a little quieter. I love Easter pastels that are a little sharper than everyday pastels. unsure if it is real I bought this set after Christmas. The price was better than any of the stores I checked. Everything arrived in great condition in a Royal Doulton box. My mom just gave me all of her OCR china. I notice that the roses, especially the yellow ones, on the china that I bought from Amazon are not nearly as detailed as the roses on her china. The roses on my mom’s china are smooth and the roses on the new china have a printed dot texture to them. Also the gold trim on my mom’s dishes is much larger than the trim on the new ones. I am unsure if the china that I bought from Amazon is real. I will not buy china here again. Broken Dishes Factory packaging or Amazon caused some items to be delivered broken. Pretty but… The Royal Albert collectible tea cup and saucer are attractive and my daughters enjoy using them for our tea parties. But I felt the quality of the gold trim and the attention to detail wasn’t there. I guess you get what you pay for. Teacup Collectors come to Amazon! Old Country Rose Sugar Bowl I purchased this sugar bowl to replace the one I broke, and I received it last week. I was disappointed when I looked at it since it was made in Bangladesh and not in England. The one I broke had England stamped on the bottom. It looks exactly like the one I broke, but I would have preferred if it had been made in England. Nice, but oval I purchased this dish as a gift for my wife, thinking that it would be a decent sized round vegetable dish. It is not. Although you cannot tell it from the description and there is no picture on the “product description” page, this bowl is actually what I would call an oval vegetable dish, which is somewhat smaller than the a round vegetable dish. The quality of the china is fine and it arrived undamaged, although later than I was orignally told. I would give the china 5 stars as an oval vegetable dish and the description 2 stars for being far too vague. Good pricing! It is for a present for someone who has these dishes but did not have any servings peices to go with the dishes. Very Beautiful Piece I bought this beautiful teapot to match my other Royal Albert tea sets. Too bad it did not come with its own box. I am very disappointed when it arrived in broken pieces. Yes, there is bubble wrap around the teapot but the lid was inside the teapot without any bubble wrap. The shipping box did not has “Handle with Care” label on it. I had called the customer service to get a replacement. Hope this time it will arrive safely. oh my It just the right size and it looks just so pretty on my table when I took out of box.
