Lovely pitcher…Perfect size I purchased this pitcher and another just like it in a different color/design. Both are really pretty and were packaged well. I like the fact that it is not a huge pitcher. When I first unpacked it, I thought it might be too small…didn’t look like it would hold the 1-1/2 quarts it was said to in the description. Not that it’s tiny, just sort of dainty. But it does. I use both pitchers when there’s to be several people. Why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5? I believe 5 stars indicates there’s no room for improvement. Much as I like this pitcher, there are a couple of negatives for me. One…no lid. I have to cover with foil or plastic wrap. I realize it would be hard to make a lid with the way it’s designed, but it would still be better with one. Two…it drips down the outside of the spout when you pour tea. Not a puddle, just a dribble, probably because the spout is not thin. I just set it on a towel or wipe with a paper towel each time. Not a big deal, but ...

Caleca Bluemoon serving set I have bought Caleca bowls as gifts for my rather large family for the last 15 years. They are great–don’t stain–and a visual delight to any diner table. I use them as pasta bowls. Large enough to put all the pasta in and use a serving dish. Everyone I give them to loves them as well. Beautiful! And very large If you have a big dinner, than this serving plate would be perfect. Just note that it is really huge. I love the pattern and the shape of this line and am very pleased with the serving pieces. The plate is just a little bigger than I’d thought it would be. EXCELLENT CERAMICS WITH A HISTORY I have personally visited the Caleca ceramic manufacturing plant while stationed in Sicily with the military. These folks know their craft and are masters at it. Love this cheerful set! I love this set. The colours and patter are so cheerful and they lift my spirits each time I use it. I have now bought plates, bowls and casserole dishes as well and I love it all. It’s beautifully made and cleans like a dream. I had purchased 4 bowls from a local store years ago and wanted to get 4 more plus mugs. I was so happy to find them through Amazon. They had the best selection and price. They were a perfect match to the ones I had purchased years before. I can’t tell the difference. They last, are microwave and dishwasher safe. The best dinnerware around bar none! I can only give this Italian stoneware/ceramic the highest praise … Not only is it beautiful – it’s sturdy, chipresistant(!), microwave resistant, and dishwasher safe. It’s not at all like any Italian stoneware i’ve bought in the past which easily chipped, and got hot and “crackled”/crazed in the microwave, dishwasher etc… I liked it so much i bought the pasta bowl set, a 2nd service for 4 of the dinnerware and also a set for friends for Xmas. I highly recommend it! My friends loved it too and decided to buy a set of the Caleca Bluemoon to mix and match with. They are sold on it! Lovely, durable dish ware I’ve had these Caleca Diamonds dinnerware for several years now. They’re microwave safe, have held up well in the dishwasher, and look lovely. I use them daily and they seem chip-resistant because I’m not that careful with them, but haven’t chipped one yet. Also, they are not showing scratch marks either. The only complaint I have, which is minor, is the handles on the mugs do get very hot if I microwave a beverage for 50 seconds in a 1200 watt microwave; I have other mugs whose handles don’t get as hot. Caleca Giardino 16 piece Dinnerware Set -Service for 4 Love the pattern on the set. Set arrived in perfect condition. Cereal bowls are on the flat side and take a little bit to get use to. Mugs are on the large side. When I put a mug in the microwave, I notice that the handle is very hot upon removel. I use a different type of mug in the microwave. All in all I love the set. The yellow center surrounded by flowers is like the sun in a garden, giving a cheerful feeling, and making food look appetizing. My only suggestion is that the shade of yellow is a cooler and lighter, more lemon yellow than the picture on the website. Outrageous! I have added these cups, plates and bowls to my will so they will have a future after I leave this planet. Sometimes when it’s very quiet in the house I can hear them singing to each other and to my set of bowls I bought at the same time. So Fancy! Order received without any damage and quickly. I love using the set. As mentioned previously, the bowls are shallow and best for pasta or salad in my opinion. I had to buy cereal bowls which was fine. Caleca Blue Garland dinnerward I love it and so does my husband. The coffe cups are nice and big and the plates do not have that wasted lip around the edges. The bowls are salad bowls mostly. Not good for ice cream – to big for that. I did order the smaller fruit bowls and they are plenty good for ice cream. I have had these since the late 1980′s I agree with the other comments. These dishes are great. I have had mine over 20 years and use them everyday. I have a few chips on some, but they have been in the dishwasher and mircowave. It is an excellent product! Excellent Value This is very nice china, generously sized, attractive, and seems durable.
