Riedel O Decanter

Image
Great Decanter for everyday use Perfect size, holds a normal size bottle of wine easily – the shape makes it very easy to handle and pour. A great looking decanter with the quality of Riedel. Love it! so cute! This is a great little decanter. I emphasize the word “little”, though. When it arrived I actually bet my husband that it would not hold an entire bottle of wine – we have wine glasses that look to be the same size as this decanter! Sure enough, he won the bet, but I would probably buy the larger size next time. Even so, I still recommend this one. You can’t go wrong with Riedel, and this decanter is so cute and functional – we use it every week. Oh so Trendy and Unique This Decanter from Riedel is one I bought for a close friend of mine for Christmas. Not only did he love it, but he stated, “Wow! People are going to think I am really classy!” This decanter is just that. . . classy. It has substance to it and you feel its weight in your hand. It does not feel heavy, but at th...

Riedel Ultra 8-3/8-Inch Decanter

now i can serve great wines, correctly and in great style Great value, this Reidel decanter arrived packed carefully and was immediately put into service. I would recommend purchasing the wine clearning brush, as it is difficult to clean this beautiful decanter without it. Great Conversation Piece I bought this for a couple reasons; 1, it’s made by Riedel, and 2, because of its shape. Not only is the shape a conversation topic but it also allows the wine to breath much more than if left in the bottle. I use my decanter for EVERY bottle of red I open, regardless of age. The vast majority of the wines I drink are “young” wines and really benefit from breathing in the decanter for 2 – 5 hours. In love with this decanter This beautiful decanter is the best choice and the price can’t be beat. It is a showcase for expensive or moderate priced wines. All the guest were truly impressed as the rich red wine cascaded down the throat and into the bowl. This is the answer to gift giving as well. ...

Riedel Wine Glass Travel Case

Image
Riedel Wine Glass Travel Case Smart looking case that properly holds and protects your fine stemware. Can hold 4 Vinum Bordeaux–great for a night out at your favorite BYOB. EMendlow I am some where between a wine enthusiast and a wine snob. This is my second purchase of this product and I love it! Many BYOB restaurants do not have the correct glasses for good or vintage wine and this product solves that problem. The carrier can handle even my largest glass (Reidel 30 oz. Sommeliers Bordeaux). The carrier is light weight and is similar to a light-weight computer bag. I highly recommend this product. Riedel carry case This is fantastic! I had it shipped to Australia for $90 including postage and handling.(here they are $200 RRP) It got here in under 2 weeks! Fantastic to use, previously I would pack up my glasses in their original box to take them to restaurants, this is much easier, great for picnics too, if you feel like having a nice bottle with lunch! Riedel Magnum Cabernet Decanter

Image
Excellent value Great looking, very practical decanter and an excellent value. I use it for regular bottles and have not tried using it for magnums, but I would recommend this size for regular bottles for better aeration and think the smaller version might be a bit too small. Riedel Dominus 31-3/4-Ounce Decanter

Riedel Decanter We were looking for a decanter that would be the right size for a bottle of wine but wanted the stopper to allow overnight storage of any that may be leftover . This worked perfectly. Beautiful design and easy to use. Anything made by Riedel is a beautifully designed usable item. This decanter looks good on the bar and is very functional. Click to Editorial Reviews

Riedel Dominus Magnum 69-1/2-Ounce Decanter

Image
GREAT DECANTER. Why Lie About the Size? Does not appear to have fragility issues like Reidel duck decanter which inevitably will chip around the edge of the spout. The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of a perfect 5 is Riedel’s exaggeration about the capasity. It holds 62 ounces. If you try and pour 69 1/2 ounces into it, you’ll have 7 1/2 ounces all over your counter. Riedel, why the lie? You already call it a magnum decanter which will suffice for most wine nuts… Great decanter, just don’t understand the need to LIE. btw, I will be buying more “Riedel Dominus Magnum 62 Ounce Decanters”. Riedel Vinum Extreme 35-1/4-Ounce Decanter

Image
reidel decanter I purchased this for red wine. The decanter is beautiful, but expensive. I find that I don’t use it that much, it takes up to much room on the table. I should have purchased a tall decanter. Puccini Live! Soothing to hear, relaxing, what can be better? It’s music to my ears. I keep up the music and the passion A real showpiece We bought this several years ago as our other “normal” decanter was to large and one bottle of wine looked pretty lonely in it, though we do still use it for larger gatherings. This decanter holds exactly one bottle of wine and looks fantastic when the light hits it and brings out the colors of the wine. It is a full 12″ long so if space is a problem this might not be for you. When the wine is gone I rinse it immediately in cool water (no soap)dry off the outside and turn it upside down to dry. Sometimes I roll a paper towel and slide it inside the handle to absorb any extra moisture and keep it from spotting. I am still looking for a drying rack...

Riedel Cabernet Decanter

Image
Half bottle decantor Buyer beware! This is being advertised here as easily holding a 750 ml bottle of wine. Yes, it will hold one 750 ml bottle but it is actually intended to be used as a 375 ml, 1/2 bottle personal decantor not a 750 ml bottle decantor (according to Reidel – discovered after receiving the product). I bought a second one This decanter handily holds 750 ml (one bottle), but it has the most surface area at 375 ml. So if you are wanting a decanter to get rid of bottle sediment or just to be used as a serving implement, this is great. And cheap, too. If you want to get the maximum aeration, you’ll have to choose a different decanter. I recently bought a second one, and was interested to see how rose-colored my first one is in comparison to the second one. These are inexpensive, so it is probably worth it to have one that you reserve for whites and one you use for reds. It’s very hard to clean the red wine color out, even using a bottle brush. Good Decanter for the price T...

Riedel Magnum Cabernet Decanter

Image
Lovely decanter – perfect for regular bottle despite “magnum” classificn by Riedel This is the decanter to get if you’re looking to get a large classically shaped decanter in this line for a regular bottle of wine. Yes, this will hold a magnum but you don’t want to pour all the magnum in it as there won’t be enough surface area for the wine to aerate. I bought this to decant regular 750ml bottles of wine after reading some of the other reviews of this and it’s shorter sibling decanter (the regular sized Cabernet Decanter). I’m glad I did as I wasn’t disappointed at all. I was afraid this might end up being “huge”, but it isn’t. And, the regular Cabernet decanter is too small, as other reviewers of that have noted. If you’re familiar with Riedel’s Extreme line, this is almost an “extreme” decanter. One other thing to note: it’s made of really thin, fine looking glass which looks beautiful (it’s even thinner than the regular Vinum line). If you have the Riedel Vinum XL Pinot glasses, th...
