Caleca Carousel Large Pitcher
Lovely pitcher…Perfect size
I purchased this pitcher and another just like it in a different color/design. Both are really pretty and were packaged well. I like the fact that it is not a huge pitcher. When I first unpacked it, I thought it might be too small…didn’t look like it would hold the 1-1/2 quarts it was said to in the description. Not that it’s tiny, just sort of dainty. But it does. I use both pitchers when there’s to be several people.
Why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5? I believe 5 stars indicates there’s no room for improvement. Much as I like this pitcher, there are a couple of negatives for me. One…no lid. I have to cover with foil or plastic wrap. I realize it would be hard to make a lid with the way it’s designed, but it would still be better with one. Two…it drips down the outside of the spout when you pour tea. Not a puddle, just a dribble, probably because the spout is not thin. I just set it on a towel or wipe with a paper towel each time.
