Blomus Salt and Pepper Set, Porcelain
Striking modern appearance
I like these. They’ve got a striking modern appearance. Glossy porcelain sides. Matte finish on the stainless steel. They really sit well in a modern dining room suite.
They have plastic capped fill holes at the bottom, but they’re a little small, so you’ll probably need a small funnel to fill them up without making a mess. I would have liked to see them labeled “Salt” and “Pepper” or just plain nothing at all rather than “Blomus” and “Blomus”. They have a matching oil and vinegar set with more appropriate markings.
I also would have liked for them to be a bit bigger, but 3″ tall is acceptable. It looks like the four holes at the top aren’t going to allow for anything but finely ground pepper here. At least it is dishwasher safe, although they recommend taking it out at the end of the wash cycle to hand-dry the stainless steel.
So it isn’t the best salt and pepper set as far as function. But they got the form right. They look really nice, and none of…
